If you're studying at school or college and want to understand how we work, or preparing to leave education and are interested in an apprenticeship or graduate role, we want to hear from you. We're looking for individuals who are passionate about engineering and whose personality aligns with our company values.

At Ultra Energy, you will rotate across our various teams and through the support of your line manager acquire a unique experience on which to build a successful career.

Work experience

If you're studying in year 11 or above at school, sixth form or an FE college and would like to know if a career in engineering could be for you, why not come and experience one or two weeks at our Dorset facility? What we need from you
  • Level 3 apprentice candidates need a minimum of five GCSEs or equivalent at level 5 (C) and above, including English, science and mathematics
  • Level 4 apprentice candidates require A levels, T levels or BTEC

What we need from you
  • You’ll need at least a degree pass at 2:1 or higher in an electrical, electronic, mechanical, systems engineering, physics, or nuclear discipline
  • Enthusiasm, willing to learn, team player, passion about engineering and problem solving
  • Strong communication and time management skills
